THE MEETUP & GETDOWN
April 15 & 16 | Denver, Colorado
HOW WE’LL GET DOWN
The Meetup & Getdown is a big party for our new civic future. This isn’t a conference — it’s a real-life party where we'll experience how the principles in the “An Invitation to a New Civic Future” letter are practiced in our communities. Ready to party? Here’s a high-level agenda for how we’ll get down.
Wednesday Evening
Connect with your fellow party people at our welcome happy hour before seeing our new civic future come to life at Warm Cookies of the Revolution's Tax Day Carnival.
Location: Happy hour at The Slate Hotel, 1250 Welton St, Denver, CO 80204
Tax Day Carnival at D3 Arts, 3632 Morrison Rd, Denver, CO
Thursday Morning
Experience our new civic future first-hand by participating in experiential sessions led by civic practitioners — and learn a thing or two to bring back to your community.
Location: History Colorado Center, 1200 Broadway, Denver, CO
Thursday Afternoon
Propose emergent conversations to go deeper with fellow party people on the topics, tactics, and practices that are most alive for you related to our new civic future.
Location: History Colorado Center, 1200 Broadway, Denver, CO
Thursday Evening
Join our closing happy hour and call-to-action before heading off to dinner around town to continue your emergent conversations from the afternoon or join new ones. An optional post-dinner hang for the late-night crowd to follow.
Location: Schoolyard Beer Garden, 1115 Acoma St., Denver, CO
